This Privacy Policy applies to the Snow Screen mobile application developed by Hoang Binh An. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

1. Information Collection and Use

Snow Screen does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal user data or sensitive information. The application operates entirely on your device.

2. Permissions Used by the App

To deliver system-wide overlay snow effects, the app requests the following system permissions:

  • Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to render snowfall particles over the status bar, home screen, and lock screen.
  • Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Keeps the snow effect running continuously and smoothly in the background.
  • Usage Stats Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Optional permission used solely to detect when you leave the home screen, allowing the "Only Home & Lock Screen" feature to automatically pause snow over other apps. This data is processed locally on your phone and is never saved or transmitted.
  • In-App Purchases (BILLING): Managed securely by Google Play Store to handle optional Pro feature unlocking.

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, and Google Play Billing for basic usage metrics and secure purchases. These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

Snow Screen does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
